They still have modi will kill Muslims slogan.
it is pathetic to see called secular intellectuals clinging onto rahul as saviour despite the sinking ship.

maybe some good will come to congress with rebuilding...hopefully the gandhi clan dying off into obscurity will ultimately be good for the country, if not now, 10 yrs from now. but it's safe to be skeptical

I am happy that congress is struggling. but i am sorry for intellectuals who buy into congress brand of secularisism.

after few interactions with some.of these successful sycophants, i learnt few reasons for.their behavior. they are mostly aware that they have to give.up any.sense of self respect. but they learned that they have no useful ability to create value that would get them any respect in society. they also realize they cannot generate voter enthusiasm on their own. to summarize they needed a central authority to keep the flock together and create the socialist secular illusion. so after early 1990 experiment with pvn and mms economic liberalism and democratic party, they went back to authoritarian socialist secular congress of indira with sonia in charge.

individual congressman is not a victim but a self enriching sycophant who slavishly supports sonia for personal benefit. they will dump her if she fails to deliver the votes long term.
