well, i take a long escalator where i work everyday. anything can happen. however, i did get a haircut last week and my hair is short now. but you do see doddering old men and women with gait instability getting on the escalator and you worry that they won't know when to step off and they might topple over backwards right into you and then, that's it, your working days are over.

A funny thing happened in London. After the (idiotic) security check for transit passengers I had to take the escalator. My roll on slipped and went "down" the escalator. for a few seconds I thought I would return by the "down escalator" to pick it up. Suddenly, I realized it was a one-way escalator with my passport in the roll on. Holy shyt....I went down the "up" escalator - faster and faster and it took me a while to finally reach the bottom of the escalator and grab my roll-on. Luckily there was no one else trying to come up and a desi couple just entered when I was reaching the bottom and they were confused and baffled looking at me...

I never had this experience and now I can talk like an expert on escalators...Razz

P.S. You should grow at least shoulder length hair - that suits you best...Wink
