India vs england - does India have a chance?
Hyped up series bet ween inform home team england and world no.1 India is about to start. What is your take on this series?
India - starts slowly, sehwag missing, inform English bowling, inform english batting - England should start as favorites at least in 1st test.
India has a strong batting line up on paper but it always comes late to party. This is probably the best prepared team in a long time with weeks of test cricket in WI.
If Lord's is bowler friendly, Indian attack could also benefit.
I take england in first test.
However, England may find it tough to gain 2 test lead in a 4 test series.

Simple rule of thumb: If SRT scores a century in 1st innings, then India loses. (Of course, SRT scores century in the 2nd innings, Gold price will crash to $300/ Oz.)

hey, it is english summer. expect rain to spoil at least two matches. given that, it may result in 1-1.
i agree that the conditions in ENG will benefit our bowlers. expect a good show from them.

rain is an essential ingredient of any england series. It is almost certain to have partial or fully lost test matches. But rain could also cause problems with one side playing under extremely difficult conditions for a short period of time. That session or two could spell disaster.
Last I saw england was 60 for 1 or close to that. I think they negotiated the reasonably meancing Indian bowling well. India would have liked a 3 or 4 wicket haul in that period to limit england to 250 or less. Now it is going to be grind, and India may face huge England total. On a flat pitch Indian bolwers are not very good wicket takers.
Uppiliji,
You have defined the ultimate indicator of stock market trends. Can you clarify if Sachin's second inning century in chennai test was an after effect of 26/11 attack?
