Bjp _ sushma swaraj chinnamma speech _ one of the most inept unproductive speeches in parliament.
first Congress pulls the plug on it so that no one heard it outside parliament. Then it was so inconsequential to both people of telangana and political, it will disappear into oblivion soon.
Venkaiah was long on talk and short on concrete action. Seemandhra noticed.
so net result is no particular benefit in t area . Max bjp 5 molasses with trs/ Congress combine getting 80 to 90 seats out of 119. Bjp may have some chance in one or two Mp seats out of 16.

Seemandhra _ bjp mla and Mp seats was zero and will be zero for a long time. If they pushed Congress in parliament they could have filled the void and won few mla seats.

Neither ysrc nor tdp want to align with bjp nor do they really care. They may support bjp after elections but they will be pressure groups than partners.

So much for bjp and its strategic thinkers.

Politically it probably was.. but BJP doesn't have much cadre in Andhra for them to be able to convert their stand to 'significant' electoral gains within 3 months there. So, they took a decision with an eye on future benefits in T-state.

BJP doesnt have the source of funds and cadre like smartha points out to make a significant difference in elections compared to the other two. same with the ideals party

Bjp national could provide funds if required but it is a waste of resources.
Bjp national leadership is full of incompetents who are praying for a modi magic.
Other than riling up some half intelligent emotional people on religious grounds what did they ever do to build their stupid party.
congress is a party of greedy bastards and Bjp is full of incompetent bench warmers.

If I can't win, I should at least diminish the other guy's chances - this is the strategy of BJP in AP.

CONartists willingly walked into the trap on T. The queen bee is not that smart and her chamchas are no better. Just look at how Seemandhra ministers, MPs and MLAs behaved while the T issue was being handled. They portrayed an image of being insincere and confused. MT, The GoM, CWC and the central cabinet, all took them for granted. It is amazing that such a successful region of the state has such morons to represent in the political arena. Lagadapati and the TDP guy (who was rough with the Lok Sabha secretary) were juvenile.

Are you implying that Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh are all being run by 'incompetent bench warmers'?
