Judges don't go making public statements on cases (and the parties in the cases) which are pending in courts (including to be adjucated by the High Court etc.).

Former Chief Justice of India VN Khare has said if he had the power he would have registered an FIR against Modi. Surely it can't be that so many judges are ignorant of the law. I think it is permissible for a retired judge to express an opinion about a pending case.
