There are about 30% of Indian population that are classified as Forward caste or no reservations. Brahmins constitute about 1 to 2%.

The above web link provides some facts to form an informed opinion about indian reservations.
Two observations from the data:
SC/ST are still very far back on several parameters when compared to OBC and FC.
The gap between OBC and FCs in many parameters has reduced or disappeared. EX: landholding in rural villages. Check the charts in the link.
You and your friends should focus on the utility of backward class reservation instead of robbing the sc/st groups of their limited opportunities.

I do not know the accuracy of the data provided but it is not very good.
Why can't hindu religion support its own priest class? why is it turning a blind eye to this problem?

The problem is the likes of Devyani Khobragade who get their kids admitted to medical colleges on SC/ST quota.

You raised another side of the problem. Since reservations are in place for such a long time, the second and third generation reservation candidates are getting best of both worlds. That privilaged class is particularly dangerous.
But there is no force in India that can fight either backward class reservations or creamy layer problem.
