What do you think about the trend of tamilians naming their kids NI names like Abhishek.
Why don't we hear nice tamil sounding names like muthusamy, madialazhagan , thangavel anymore ?

Re: abhishek
Considering that you are a enthusiastic follower of the groundhogging-Phlegmy's theory of "ingratiators and wannabe-NIs", your attempt to shift the focus away to minor mistake is on the expected lines.garam_kuta wrote:b_A wrote:Paging michelle2/swapna.MaxEntropy_Man wrote:...no, not bachchan.

that link is tl;dr..
minor mistake - for someone who is pathetically pretending but claiming to know tamil and tamilians enough to judge them across the board in all facets of life?
anyways, what is this shift in focus that you are talkin' about?

What are you blabbering in the bolded part ? My post was about Phlegmy's well known "ingratiator" theory.

Re: abhishek
he is very good because he is technical and he seems to understand some mysterious nuances of laya. especially when presenting krithis, he is uninhibited in using imaginative sangathis.
of course, his voice lends itself to the above. without that, nothing sustains. heard him once in narada gana sabha.
