The thing bothering Advani the most is that he is not the one man show in BJP anymore.

I have heard about this ("barber" thing) from many people and for a long time. It's possible that Ghanchi might be a subcaste in the general category (caste) of barbers.

What Mayawati probably meant was that he is not a Dalit. There are many people, myself included, who believe that as of today backward castes are not underprivileged and are hence ineligible for caste based reservation benefits.

What Mayawati probably meant was that he is not a Dalit. There are many people, myself included, who believe that as of today backward castes are not underprivileged and are hence ineligible for caste based reservation benefits.

If Modi is really from the "teli" caste, he could already be a SC ("dalit"). Anyway, the entire quota thing based on caste (whether as OBC or SC/ST) is a big hoax and not the true measure for a person as underprivileged.
