===> Looks like this Loksatta outfit is nothing but a paper tiger. What do they do except go on marches and mouth some platitudes decrying corruption?
Dr. Subramanian Swamy, the one-man demolition squad has done more to put corrupt people in jail than Loksatta.
You need to go after the corrupt politicians. Name names. Take them to court.
That is what Swamy has done.

Haha..yeah. In fact, until I heard it mentioned here by Carvaka, I'd not even heard of this party despite being a fairly avid follower of politics. Seems to be a creation of the Hyderabad chatterati.
Frankly, while corruption is a bad thing and has no place in a civilized society, I don't see any merit in the single-point obsession with which the so-called "civil society" is pursuing it, as if eliminating corruption is a silver bullet to the country's problems. On the other hand, all that anti-politician rhetoric -- from a bunch of people who'd not win a municipal election -- is not just senseless, it's plain dangerous to democracy. While rubbishing the government's draft Lokpal bill as "jokepal", Hazare and his buddies have come up with something just as ridiculous, full of impractical, idealistic ideas and extra-constitutional to boot.

BTW, anti-politician rhetoric is also one of the aspects of a healthy democracy, and anti-politician sentiment is a steady undercurrent in all democracies throughout history.

So you are now supporting corruption as well ???
If a person who has not won even a municipal election can be the PM and run a govt., why not a similar person make any anti-politician rhetoric...
Wait. Are you saying that only those who have at least a municipal election has the right to criticize any politician ? .....that is now an improvement.....what next deny voting rights to the people (or at least 99% if them)?

This is exactly why I call you Retardmun! Lol! Do you realize that the point you glibly made, actually supports the point Uppili was making? This is a classic example of how you are blind and say stupid things.
Dumbfuck Retardmun! I feel sorry for you like I'd feel for any retard.
