Do you know that aero enginerers and naval engineers in the formerTamil Air Force and Tamil Navy did not know English but used translated Tamil engineering books?

Considering that 98% of the schools in TN are Tamil medium, having a mere 33% of the students get into engineering courses is a shameful statistic. Just goes to show the poor quality of education in Tamil medium schools.

Those translated books couldn't have been too good - just see what happened to the LTTE "air force" and "navy". I'd definitely sue those translators and at the very least, ask for money back on those engineering books.

Oops..I meant to say, having only a third of the engineering students in TN come from Tamil medium schools is a shameful statistic.
