Seems a very superficial course to me. In particular it does not take into account the dramatic changes taking place in the Budha's time when the rising monarchies like Magadha and Kosala were launching vicious attacks on the various existing tribal collectives in a bid to wipe them out since some kind of democracy was prevalent in these tribal collectives and this was considered a threat to their existence by the newly emerged monarchies. The Budha's own tribe, the Sakyas, suffered various attacks because of this. It was because of the existing social conditions prevalent in the Budha's time that everyone at that time, or mostly everyone, was filled with some kind of anxiety.

There seems to be a lot in this course about the meditation and psychology, which have been used and explored deeply in the Yoga philosophy ....   http://www.geocities.ws/lamberdar/yoga.html.

Btw, Yoga itself is closely related to the Samkhya (Yoga as the practical aspect of the theoretical Samkhya).
