Modi, however, made a faux pas while campaigning in Beohari under Sidhi parliamentary constituency. He said that Tansen, legendary musician in emperor Akbar's court, belonged to Sidhi district. But local historians pointed out Tansen had no connection with Sidhi.

"Sidhi from where Tansel learnt music and began his career had a close relation with Vadnagar where I was born. Tansen went to Vadnagar to learn Raag Malhar from sisters Tana and Riri," Modi said at an election meeting.

Santosh Singh Chauhan, author of several history books on the Vindhya region (of which Sidhi is a part), said: "Tansen used to sing in the court of King Rewa. He never visited Sidhi though Sidhi was then under Rewa princely state."

And NaMo goofing up on history or geography is worse than ManMo goofing up on economy, governance and public administration!!

Thank God NaMo was not in power during the global recession otherwise the Indian economy would have collapsed. Modi has no idea about economics as Chidambaram has earlier pointed out.

When the UPA-1 shines riding the global boom it is the UPA/ManMo/Chiddu's credit. When UPA-2 fails to control the impact of the bust then it is the recession to be faulted. Not withstanding the fact that a recession in the developed world is a great opportunity for the developing economies to get their policies and executions right for attracting and retaining investments. Basic logic is one area you guys get an F too, btw.

And yeah, for some reason Gujarat is not part of the Globe and so exempt from the Global recession. Whose geography now needs upgrade?
