This is good news. This means that enough voters can now read the names of candidates that it makes it worthwhile for parties to try to confuse them with namesake candidates. Election symbols (hand, lotus, broom) were introduced to make it easier for illiterate voters to vote correctly, and now with this tactic those symbols come to the rescue of literate voters!

Before becoming a candidate, the guy was "napping bare-chested outside his mud hut"  Very Happy

The real candidate belongs to BJP. Obviously a desperate, sikular CONtrick to confuse voters.

CONartists don't want this fake guy to win either. So, they have 3 other paid contestants so that the real BJP guy's votes get spread out and the real CONman may squeak through.

This is just a mild example of what CONwallahs have been doing for a long time to fool people.
