I hope politicians do more of this. This way they will expose each other, the state will save a lot of money on the IB and the voters will not only be entertained but also have a lot of information on the candidates.

Someone posted an article new Election tourism in India.

I seriously think there is some big dabbu in that idea. Since we have state elections, corporation and municipal elections, this could be a continuous tourism - catering to a whole new constituents of intellectuals, academicans, and tamasha seekers.

Taking potshots at Mulayam and Akhilesh, Mayawati said "they should understand that it was due to B R Ambedkar they are here, otherwise they will be grazing cows and buffaloes in fields."

I remember in grade (class) 4 I was selected by the school, along with a classmate of mine, to appear in the district scholarship Exam. The test was scheduled in the nearby town on Monday in the month of March. One day prior to the test, i.e. Sunday (which was a holiday and I thought I would prepare for the special test), I spent the whole day grazing the cattle and skipping the studies. Anyway, I appeared in the test the following day and scored 94% (if I remember correctly) and won the scholarship, without being hampered by the grazing of animals the previous day.
