Did Naren bhai call Nawaz Sharif to convey his condolences?
"A Pakistani woman has been killed by her relatives outside Lahore High Court for marrying against their wishes.
Police said 30-year old Farzana Bibi died on the spot after being attacked with bricks and sticks.
Her father handed himself in, but police say her brothers and former fiancee, who also took part in the attack, were still free.

>>Bad reporting.
No details.
Both Farzana and her husband are Muslims.
Then why did her relatives kill her?
Is that fellow from a different caste?
Or love marriage is frowned upon even though the man may be from the same community?

He is 20 years older than her and a widower with 4 or 5 offspring.
Glad to see CDbhai turning defence to offense here by making this a question about Narenderbhai's possible reaction to this gory incident perpetrated by fellow Kebab eating practitioners of peaceful religious beliefs.

hey hey let's not get carried away now, a fellow telugu from Guntur, practicing Hindu, committed the same exact crime as this Pakistani parent, not too long ago.nevada wrote:Rishi wrote:confuzzled dude wrote:"A Pakistani woman has been killed by her relatives outside Lahore High Court for marrying against their wishes.

Interesting. I thought (dis)honor deaths are common only among padosis and North Indians. Actually, I do know of one killing for (dis)honor case in Hyderabad involving Telugu folks. Well, there was no death actually but was brought up as a possibility. A Reddy boy in my old neighborhood successfully wooed a Raju girl. Her parents were aghast. The boy's parents went to the girl's parents seeking an alliance. Her parents said they would rather kill her than give her in marriage to the boy. The boy's parents said if you are thinking about killing her, why don't you just disown her, write her off as dead to you and send her away with us right now. The girl's parents were dumbfounded by this reasonable request and blabbered about how much dishonor it would bring them, how their lives would be miserable, etc etc. I don't know what happened next as I left India a couple of months after this case hit the headlines in the neighborhood.
