Sanjay Nirupam was saying that even Modi would have been defeated if he contested on a CON ticket. So, is he saying that CONparty is so filthy that people don't want to touch it with a ten foot pole? Will MT sack him? How about Taroor who is praising Modi - will Pappu sack him?

CONparty will be ok since there are still some extremely brilliant diehard fashion-sikular scholars (including our own SuCh dEvas). May be, MT should appoint Rashmun and Doggy as culture builders for CONmen and make Tita Sheetalwind, Javed Anand mian, Laloo, Mullahyama as advisers so that the party will be strapped with suicide bombs and sent to 72-type paradise sooner than later. The country will change Diwali celebrations - the killing of Ravan or Narakasura will be substituted with CONparty doing a "mujahideen" to kaboom itself.

Tut Tut. So much anger and hatred does not befit a self proclaimed Advaitin. Advaita says everything and everyone is Brahman(God). If you believe in Advaita then admit that Congress is also Brahman.

Congress does not have the ability to have an open honest to God discussion on the causes of defeat. It is obfuscation and diversion to save maa-beta.

Sonia 's only hope is wait for a while. Bjp and modi probably cannot solve India's intractable problems. The masses at some point will grow disillusioned and come back to the old known devil. Rahul and Sonia will try to ride to.power in 5 or 10 years later on a negative wave.

Rahul does not have the energy or the ideas to rebuild Congress.

Gandhi's wish to fold Congress after independence may finally come true.
