The keypoint in this is The so called academically "C" students are actually "A" students who were not interested in the traditional educational system.
There is no way on earth a "C-grade" will get A in academics or achieve an "A" in career.
Nada...not happening.

>>>Basically you are saying that the so called "C" students in this context are really good learners. They are intellectually curious.

They are fast learners. Just like there are kids that learn more effectively through visuals and some through analysis, many so-called "C"-graders learn fast through "observation and intuition" from real life.

>>People who do well and attain leadership roles in the business world are usually smart. The C grades may simply be a function of not paying attention to academics, rather than inability to perform. In cases like Steve Jobs, they may just felt very constrained by a structured environment.

So it all comes down to my Sat Sermon (or BS): No one is really a genius nor is anyone really stupid. It is just that some recognize their strength and act in a determined manner with active supporting environment or at least a non-interfering environment.
