And oil stains...
YouTube has a complex overnight solution. I'm not too sure I'll get it right/ it will work for me.

How did a granite countertop get an oil stain? Isn't it the whole idea of granite tops - to prevent stains and look great forever.

You'll be surprised how easily granite stains. It absorbs pretty much all the liquids. Unless ofcoz it was sealed after installation.Marathadi-Saamiyaar wrote:seven wrote:And oil stains...

I by mistake spilled oil on our kitchen countertop and even though I wiped it right away, the stone soaked some of it.
I should have washed it with soap n water maybe.
Now it's stained n idk how to fix it. Using harsh chemicals might further damage the granite

make sure you apply ONLY to the stain area.
If the management points out, tell them it was there when you moved in. You did not report it as it was not broken...

How do you know what people wear in harem? did you or some female in your family worked there? the oil stain on our counter top is on the edge. putting the tape on that area will be tricky. I'll do what Kris said and come clean. Tell them about it and see if they can have their handyman fix it.

In Amrika...that too when it comes to "business" dealings "Honesty is the worst policy" Haven't you learnt anything from all the looting on the Street?
Act casual and tell them if asked during walk-around "Oh...that was there when I came in. The mgmt lady said she would make a note about it". Make sure you do the walk around and get it all signed before handing over the key.
Remember again "Honesty is not - repeat with me - not the best policy"
