i absolutely love the scent of petrol. i will work at a petrol pump if i am kicked out for taking my monthly pay despite not adding any value to the organization (it's been going on for months now). i don't like diesel, but petrol and kerosene? bring them on.

I like smells of

environment:
khas khas, what's its English name?
ironing on cotton clothes.
fresh rain (petrichor).

flowers:
rajanigandha
mogra/jasmine
roses

people:
men colognes/aftershaves, etc.
baby smell, that's somehow intertwined with johnson's smell.
healthy sweat smell (kind that comes in gyms - this is for village nostalgia)

food:
fresh orange
a good mango.
charcoal grilled food - reminded of roadside corn, kababs, etc.
heeng-jeera seasoning

AB, I too used to love the after-smells of cigarette and petrol, but am allergic to them now.

fresh jasmine flowers, yes, esp jadhi malli or is it mullai which has a distinctive smell?

somehow i like the smell of vannila, of course lavender as well.

I am doing well, thanks. Started a new job(same co, dif dept) so I don't have much time to post during weekdays. I love the smell of petrol too. It has a sweet, intoxicating (in a good way) smell.

Felt pens, petrol, camphor, new shoes, new note, new book, all have great smell among the inanimate objects...

Felt pens, petrol, camphor, new shoes, new note, new book, all have great smell among the inanimate objects...
