A walks into a room where B, C and D are talking animatedly.

A: Hey tell me guys, what are you all laughing about?

B: Oh nothing, I met E yesterday and these people wanted to know the details.

C: Yeah it was hot.

D: Yep, lol. Tell A too.

B: No no, A is not like you two retards. She doesn't care for such nonsense.

A: No no, I want to know too. Tell me everything!

B: Are you sure? It's X-rated.

A: Yeah I want to hear it too. Gimme the details.

B tells. A approves and says it was hot.

B walks into a room where A is talking with F, G and H.

F: My neighbor was telling me details about her getting pregnant.

G: Why was she telling you?

H: I don't know dude, TMI like this makes me squeamish.

A: Makes me uncomfortable too. I am fine with facts but please spare me the details. Maybe I am just too old fashioned.

I think that the letters in my handle name is not what she means when she talks about A,B etc. At least, I hope so.

Ah ok. Minor point or major point. A person like A is still a hypocrite, yes/no/maybe?

What if I sit today and animatedly discuss that test match with you saying how I love it, then tomorrow infront of another group (with you present but in the sidelines) who hates test matches, say passionately how I hate them too. Your reaction would be, surprise/nothing/whatever?

I am not questioning the analysis or your characterization of individuals. I am just saying I would not spend any time doing it. I am also not saying either approach is superior. I was just wondering how different men and women instinctively react to the same information. I must add I may react passionately if the topic is politics or sports.

hmm, if I read you right, you call this person a hypocrite too, but nothing of consequence as you don't care much about the context. Except, if they show this attitude in sports or politics, you will likely call it out. While a woman will more likely call it out if a person is being a hypocrite about being virtuous. Fair enough.

Just to clarify. Life is not just digital. All men are not the same, Neither are women. There is mix of emotions and attitude between the two genders. The graph will look a bi modal distribution with some overlap. I will try to post an image.

Thanks... sometimes I wonder how people justify things to themselves. Like I know this dude. Openly and repeatedly mocks social media. Repeatedly says how these people are trying hard to show that they are living a life when they are actually living a lie. Now, listening to him for months, you would think he is the harbinger of modesty. Ya? Ya. Until you stumble upon his OWN social media page. Where he has posted his vacations, his excursions, his food, his drinks, his largely expressionless cat saying TGIF week after week. Even posting pics of any random wedding he attended. Doesn't it make you curious how he separates his own life over social media from others li(f)e over social media. But anyway, all this doesn't matter, I suppose. Guess it's too lowly to call someone the biggest liar when he goes around calling everybody but himself a liar. Guess they highly feel the need to feel good. Just laugh out loud and move on.
