I vote nook color...vot's urs?

I am planning to buy something to read (Yes! It's true!!!!)...so for beginners with low reading skills, which one would be more appropriate. My future plan is to write a book :-)

Aim big is my policy....so why not?!

Nook vs Kindle? Empty Re: Nook vs Kindle?

This is an interesting question. A while back, Walt Mossberg had done a comparison on Allthingsd.com on first generation Kindle Versus Nook. You may want to go through that.

But there are many more factors to consider before you make a decision. Reflective technology (E-Ink) from Kindle is much more pleasing to the eye and is more closer to reading in natural light.

Nook had the advantage of being able to highlight and take notes on sections of the book. First gen Kindle did not have this. Not sure whether second generation Kindle has improved upon this.

I am told the page refresh disturbance is a lot different in Nook Vs Kindle, in terms of time taken and how it impacts the eye.

Battery power is something you definitely have to consider.

Prices of certain books tend to be higher in B&N (Nook).

I am not sure about lending e-books, and the status on that.

Nook color. You can put Android Honeycomb version on it if you are tech-savvy. I don't mean knowing HTML tags though.
