All the reviews by people who have seen both the orginal and the re-make indicate that Salman was no match to Raviteja.
After Rowdy Rathore , this is the second film in which the overpaid bollywood bozos came up short when compared to Raviteja. Unfortunately for him, his age is a disadvantage to him as he got his break very late and by the time he got established as a hero, it was a little late. Otherwise he could have tried his hand in bollywood and given real kick in the back to the likes of Salman.
