i know many telugu fans who can't stand to listen to him murdering the sahityam. i can tell you this, his enunciation of tamil sahityams is no good either. i think he generally took the position that if he sings some approximation of the sahityam, whatever the language, with a lot of ui ui uy around it and so long as his music was infinitely creative, which it was, he should be ok. many tamilians didn't care for that attitude either. i liked him (and i think you did too) because he had such a creative mind.
