Crush Defence Empty Crush Defence

You may have heard of "Insanity" defence, "Self Defence" defence," "Lost my mind momentarily" defence, "Multiple Personality" defence, etc. But have you ever heard of "Crush" defence? Virginia Governor McDonnell says that all those gifts (Ferrari, Yacht, and other little trinkets) gifted by a businessman were only for his wife who was romantically entangled with him (she had a "crush" on the businessman because of a failed marriage with the governor). This is now named "Crush" defence. Some legal experts say it might work to prevent the governor from going to jail.

So the first lady has a crush on this businessman and the stud recognizes that and hits on her with gifts. The governor bakra is aware of that, but still allows it and enjoys the gifts too. That's doubly gross. And to publicly acknowledge that in order to have a reduced sentence is so eeewww! Is the ex-first lady still married to him?
