This reminds me of the workplace in my first job, in Delhi. The standard greeting every morning was "kal kittha?" It sounded especially vulgar when posed to elderly Mr Luthra who'd gamely smile as though he was hearing it the first time.

Mine was 8 years ago, ugh. I have a HUGE peeve about it. That's a story in itself, am sure I posted it. My son's was last year and the way the stupid young dentist went about it, I wanted to gouge her eyes out, coz I really didn't think it was necessary and even if it was, she didn't convince me in a right upfront way, felt hoodwinked. Ever since then I made sure with the office that my kids are never scheduled with her. They don't even put them on the same floor as hers lol.

But I was uh, talking about stuff I am deprived of currently.

8-9 years ago when I began talking with XB, eventually we discussed our seks lives. After that, whenever we would talk he would ask, 'kab kiya last'. Felt odd initially, but got used to it.

XH is right I think whenever he complains how XB spoiled me in terms of being crude and learning to curse, etc. lol.

My last sari was 7 years ago,
Last piece of 'BIG' jewelry was also then.
Diamond ring was 10 years ago. Is kept in a safe for last 5 years, should sell it really - wasn't that expensive to begin with.
And car was also 10 years ago. XH did buy another car 4 years ago but sold it 2 years ago.

That brings me to the main issue. My car is due for servicing, so I will ask those people too. But anyway, it's started showing its temps in negatives lately. Like -40F. That would have been fine, but it also kicks off heating unless I set the thermostat in low 60s with AC on. How many years does it have left?

Your is all high(ER) tech cars and there may be more involved.

Since it is a 10 yr old car, find a street corner mechanic and tell him about the problem. Most likely your thermostat is going bad. It is a $5 thingie that a man (...Razz) can change easily (if he is so inclined). If not you will have severe heating issue during winter and the gas mileage will plummet as well.

Or, perhaps, your car is going through its peri-menopausal period....Razz
