Diggy Raja: "Word 'Hindu' does not occur in Vedas. RSS using this word to play religion based politics"
Rejecting RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s argument that all inhabitants of Hindustan are called Hindus, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh Friday said the word Hindu does not figure in any of the religious scriptures.
“The name of our country is Bharat. Even when we do puja we say ‘Bharat Khande Jambu Dweepe’. The name Hindustan does not figure. This country is called Bharat. Constitutionally our nation is called Bharat. We are the residents of Bharat and we are Bharatiya,” he said.
Elaborating, he said, “From where did the word Hindu come? When Islam came to India, all those living on the other side of Sindh were called Hindu. When Sangh and the BJP talk about history and culture, then why we are given an Arabic name. We are Sanatan Dharmis. Sanatan Dharm is the oldest religion in the world. Why are we ignoring that. The word Hindu does not figure in any of our Vedas, Upanishads or Puranas. The word Hindu is used to play religion-based politics by Mohan Bhagwat and the RSS.”

RSS morons and their stupid supporters would prefer to use a word coined by Arabs to refer to all Indians. Hats off to Diggy Raja for exposing the RSS stupidity.
