....Last month, Eshaan cocked a snook at the disease by completing an arduous trek to the 15th century Inca ruins at Macchu Picchu in the Andes mountains.

People (in India) assume It must be an himalayan task just bcz it is in the Andes "Mountain". It is at the same elevation as Dodda Betta in Ooty.

Elevation is not the only criterion when it comes to hiking difficulty.

Sorry...hiking to Machchu Pichu is no biggie - diabetic or not, that too for a 20 year old.
