Re: romantic quote
Not the exact quote, but something like this by Vijay Amritraj about his wife:
The very thought that she is sitting in the gallery and watching me play charges me up (to play well).

>>>TW,
Is he saying that he will take her leaving as a bigger gift than others showing up? I don't know if this is a compliment.

Kinny ji:
That was when he was newly married. He did not play for too long after he got married. Getting beaten up at home must have been good enough for him.

Re: romantic quote
It really doesn't matter how that dude played his game. He said something incredibly romantic about his wife and that's so sweet! It's every woman's dream to have such a husband. You men got to realize that!

Re: romantic quote
It's a nice quote, Tracy.
Edward Brown..lived in the late 1800s- early 1900s. Wonder how he would have felt today..all it takes; clicks, rings, texts..web videos, facetime..etc! While the "physical absence" is still felt..these days it is easy e-presence!
Kinnera,
I consider myself among the romantics..but, you are way higher:)
If a professional tennis player needs to have the feeling that a lover/spouse is watching them from the gallery while playing- I think it's a distraction and pressure..had to look up Vijay A's professional stats..Singles: 384 (W)-296 (L)..is rather mediocre, he needed more charging up from somebody:) He should have been thinking about his coach and other strategies, and fully concentrated on the matches!
It's a good thing to appreciate one's supportive family and friends (and I know what he means) but, he really is a real hopeless romantic..after all.

Without lust there are no babies, and hence lust reigns supreme leading to love and then lust dies....
