Mangalyaan's test firing today was successful. Real thing to happen on Wednesday. 

U.S's Mars craft Maven just got into MARS orbit.

May be this thread is not the best fit for this post but I think it is important for you Indians to ponder4.

Why is every name in Sanskrit or Hindi? The brain power behind this science-tech project is South. Why not a Telugu or Malayalam name once in a while?

I bet they would put a Hindi and Sanskrit message in a capsule to Mars. To be fair, messages in all languages listed in the constitution should be included.

Messaging in more than 16 or 17 languages (listed in the constitution), instead of just in Hindi and Sanskrit (as you say), might confuse the Martians.
