On twitter, when Sidhartha Varadarajan posted the video posted in the OP, the BJP leader PVS Sarma claimed that Varadarajan is seeking to defame the nation by posting such a video on his twitter feed.

Rashmun, as usual, you have only posted a snippet of the real incident. In reality, it was the black guys who provoked the crowd by asking for directions (as if noble Delhiites are attendants at their back and call) and then, when the crowd reacted by heckling them with racial insults, the black guys pushed back the closest person, triggering the fight. So it is actually they who are at fault.

You are posting all these bad things just to paint Delhi's highly educated, effete commuters in bad light. Stop your daily crying!

I am surprised the cops ( I see 3 or 4 ) doing nothing or they are afraid to deal with the mob?

And what is the crazy thing that ppl have to record every damn thing with their smart phones?

1. To gloat over their heroism in physically attacking some person
2. To use as evidence when sickular villains like Rashmun try to paint the attackers (who were merely reacting to grave provocation) in bad light.

This recording habit is really crazy. There was an accident in HYD few months ago where a cine star(Prakash Raj) got hurt and the bystanders instead of helping the injured busy recording the accident...
