do you think it is the right thing to do?
There is an incident. Raj was involved in controversial situation. There are more than two interpretations of the situation.
A private organization may self censure and restrict raj because of financial considerations. Is that right?
do you think any public organizations or govt has any role in restricting raj's movements inside India or outside India?

Given that a lawsuit has been filed, the matter is sub-judice between Rajdeep and the aggrieved NRI.

When somebody gets angry and gets physical, it is not something to be proud off. The journalist connected to this incident, should have avoided publicizing it, and un-necessarily made it an issue, getting some journalists of India to back him. After the videos, I guess there is egg on their faces, and the journalist's plan to take a moral high ground has backfired.

At the end of the day, it is a battle of perception. Given the videos etc, it is clear from this petition, that some of the NRI's/Indians feel, that Rajdeep's action embarrass India (bad press) and the NRI community.

It is simply a petition, which is basically requesting an apology and requests the private organization to essentially send capable (OR perhaps less controversial) persons when they send journalists to cover international events. Even if the petition gets enough signatures, the private organization might choose not to respond and Rajdeep himself might not respond.

Given the larger problems that India faces (economy/security/cleanliness/human development/resource development etc..), and the need for Foreign investment to solve many of its problems, this is just an unwarranted diversion, India can do without!

Absolutely, it is a right thing to do. In future, any idiot that criticizes visionary Modiji should be severely punished, wrists should be removed so he can't hold microphone, ankles so he can't conduct interviews at public events
