Radha - how can hindus pray ?
...Radha is not mentioned anywhere in books like Bhagavata Purana,Vishnu Purana, Harivamsha or Mahabharata. This has led many to believe that character of Radha was added later into the story of Krishna.[2] Radha's relationship with Krishna is given in detail within texts such as the Brahma Vaivarta Purana, Garga Samhita and Brihad Gautamiya Tantra.....Radha was 12 years older than Krishna. It is in later texts such as the Gita Govinda where we find the story of Radha given in more detail.....Krishna is never recorded in any text to return to Vrindavan or there is no reference that he married Radha, though the names of his other wives Rukmani and Satyabhama are often mentioned in texts. Infact there is no mention of Radha in any ancient scripture. Not in Shrimad Bhagavatam nor in Mahabharata nor in Harivansham.....
Wasn't she married already before she became a lover of Krishna ? If she was Lakshmi incarnation why did she marry "Ayana"?
So is Radha a Goddess - in the traditional hindu sense ?

maybe, as per Bollywood tradition, a hero is not a hero unless there is a romantic side-story to him, even if his heroine comes in only for 3-4 dialogs, and 2-3 dance sequences. Ram had Sita, they stared at each other for hours before she chose him in swayamwar, so that qualifies as a legit love story. Krishna had rukmani, but that was *yawn* I guess and mostly one sided, hence comes in a bubblier character, and there you go. Sounds good chanting too. SeetaRaam, RadheKrishna.

Yeah. Why can't an adulteress be a goddess? Or vice versa?
