Ferguson - some questions
60% black in ferguson
6% black police officers ( 3 out of 50)
That is a good point to suspect something is not right about this place.
A young man is shot dead by police.
The dead body was left on the street for a long time.
The public prosecutor's background: (from people.com)
" The prosecutor's father, mother, brother, uncle and cousin all worked for the St. Louis Police Department, and his father was killed while responding to a call involving a black suspect in 1964. McCulloch was 12 at the time, and the killing became a hallmark of his initial campaign to be elected prosecutor. "
May be the killing is justified but reasonable people have few facts that disturb them.

these are all facts...and more:
the black dude raised his hands
the black dude had a verbal argument and screamed
the white cop felt threatened
the cop called other cops
the cop shot the black dude for unnecessary reasons.
the prosecutor is subconsciously seriously biased.
the Grand Jury is the hand picked jury of the prosecutor.
the grand jury is biased and mostly goes the prosecutor's way (ask Guiliani/Barara)

HA
I do not want to imagine what your concerns are. State in your own words if you truly believe in something.

uppili
I do not know if the police officer is guilty or innocent. I leave that to legal process. But at a more fundamental level, it is sad to see citizens of minority are killed because of perceptions of danger.
trevor martin, M brown, 12 year old, LA man, and etc all of them are were found to be unarmed afterwards. Sometime back some 50 shots were fired at a guy in newyork in similar situation. How long can the society justify all these incidents as justifiable homicides?

Gets back to my pet theory. Stereotyping and perceptions, reinforced with periodic events influence a person's first impression and follow up action. Blacks are at the bottom of the totem pole, and I recall saying long long back...that in time the blacks will be discriminated by the hispanics in a couple of decades in an even worse manner. They are destined to be a the bottom of the pit as Dark and Black is equated with Bad and Evil in all cultures worldwide.
