Both shane watson and m Johnson made it clear to Indians that Australians will be aggressive and want revenge for 4-0 loss in India.

Expect 4-0 for australia. If India could narrow that margin with out the help of weather and other circumstances (ex: bodily injury) it will be good. Collectively Kohli, pujara, rahane, vijay and dhawan will have 40 chances to prove themselves. Let us see how many centuries and half centuries they will make.

Indian bowling in Australia was at the rock bottom last series. It would be a miracle to go below earlier performance. Let us see how many times they get aussies out for 300 or less.

By the end of the tour all the one day warriors will be ready for the world cup, if they do not get injured.

Looks like the Aussies' bloodlust has not been satiated yet. I am not saying that they should stop bowling bouncers but what is the need to "threaten" opponents about it ahead of time? When will they learn that cricket is just a game and there is no need for so called mental disintegration tactics/ trash talk prior to the start of play?

As for the result - I think India will draw or even win one game. The Aussie batting line up isn't that great. They are prone to batting collapses and if India can bat well and get a massive lead, they will have a good chance of winning a game.

I hope you are right. Anything better than 0-4 loss would be nice. Improved individual performance and a win or two Would help this young group a lot.

My theory is that Australian batting is not strong but good enough to overcome inexperienced Indian bowling. Aging Australian bowling is still potent enough to break technically weak Indian batting. Once Aussies get to the weak points they will exploit them relentlessly. Indian batsmen or coaches did not show that they can solve their technical deficiencies . Frankly I would like one or more Indian batsmen to prove me wrong.

Lol, India is nursing Clarke back to form as expected. And Steven Smith the bits and pieces player will look like the second coming of Bradman by the time the series is done. The only way this bowling attack will improve is if BCCI flies Zaheer out to Australia as bowling consultant, have him stand by the boundary all day and pass instructions to these clueless young ones.

Except ishant , Indian bowling is completely out of test class. Sammy is unimpressive. How come rohit sharma was not asked to bowl? And murali vijay gets 12 overs???
Kohli does not bowl an over .
Coach seems to be clueless also.

Dhoni, Raina, ashwin and jadeja all from csk and all out test of while Srinivasan is trying to convince Supreme Court to make a comeback. Coincidence or planned action?

Good day for India. Scoring 369 in one day on a away pitch facing Australian fast bowlers is a big thing for Indian batsmen.

I know it is a cement track that offered no help to bowlers but in contrast to past performance Indians did what they have to do. A loss is still possible but India is most likely to draw this match. There is a very small chance of Indian victory if they could set up a 150plus lead in this innings.
