The clash is inevitable. In each group you have strong believers and moderates. In good times, the moderates are not bothered and the more prosperous the group is the more moderates you will find. In bad times, the strong believers will become more assertive and can become pieceful.  Intra-Semitic squabbles become violent when there are disparities between them and an exaggerated sense of victim-hood. Fundamentalists won't be friendly to revisionists.

Added to the above, Semitic faiths suffer from one fundamental problem. They have to live up to the "chosen people" dogma and save others from burning in eternal hell. So, what will happen to Kafirs/Pagans?????  They have no choice but to build their defenses while developing internally. The Semitic fanatics may temporarily forget their internal squabbles to "teach a lesson" to Kafirs. So It is in the interest of Japanese, Chinese and Indians to get together and become strong while science and logic take a back seat in the heat of Semitic trance and hara-kiri in Europe and the new world.
