..... because she is a crony of Sonia (not mentioned in the article). When MMS wanted Jaishankar as the foreign secretary, Sonia overruled him and gave the nod to Sujatha.  In Kobra-gaudy's case, Sujatha was actively involved in making the issue a major diplomatic standoff with the US.  Modi now sacked Sujatha and brought Jaishankar. I suppose, Sujatha will go to Sonia and cry.

She was a quota lady - daughter of former IB director Tejeswar??? a close friend of the Gandhy family. Modi ji is right in firing this Dalit female and appoint a brainy, Tambrahm before it became legally impossible. shows Modi ji is not swayed by caste, region or other considerations except qualification.
