super bowl - any body?
NE leads 7_0. Good defensive battle so far but Brady is moving the ball.
Great Grand Canyon shots.

the only time i like to see Brady losing is to (Eli) Manning. Hope they take the lead again.

Re: super bowl - any body?
Looks like Seattle does not want to give the ball back to NE after scoring...and it is working on getting a touchdown at the buzzer.
30 secs may be ENOUGH time for NE to come half way and score a field goal...
let us see.
well first down at 38 and 1:15 left.

"Football 101"
Somebody HAD to catch the ball to win for Patriots.
You step up... you make plays... you win...
EXACTLY that's what happened.

Football 100, only an idiot would gloat about this sorry ass win. Belichick was outcoached in this matchup.
PS: I'm a fan of neither team

CD
very few will remember the margin. Pats are champions with a hard win. Pats fans should enjoy it as much as any other championship team.
Next season is another story.

Belichick has taken his team to 6 Superbowls and won 4 in the last 15 years.
Also, DO NOT talk about a football play that DID NOT happen.

Huh! I was talking about this particular game not about Belichick's legacy. If you want to talk about history, his legacy of course is muddled with controversies and luck, remember tuck rule, practicegate, spygate?southindian wrote:CD, another 101confuzzled dude wrote:southindian wrote:"Football 101"

That's a sign of growing old ... are you?
Re: super bowl - any body?
I doubt it. No one forgot the tuck rule that gave NE a win over Raiders, heck that wasn't even super bowl. No one forgot that "one yard shy" super bowl. Even the 1983 WC win by India is also seen as the one India won with a ton of luck.truthbetold wrote:CD

blah ads, shitty halftime show and terrible offensive play calling by seattle at the end. deflated balls douchebag brady must be the world's luckiest football player....well, maybe asswipe eli is number one but brady's got to be close behind in luck factor. this luckbox gets another ring after his team was outplayed for 95% of the game. he should run out and get powerball tickets, might win it too on sheer luck

You mean making a throw decision was from a "coach who is better"?
Coming back from a 10 point deficit is bad strategy coach?
The Deflategate has already deflated (http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/02/01/deflategate-only-one-patriots-football-underinflated).
You are not the only whiner.
...and Yup! Learn some football.

really? wilson couldn't throw a completed pass until well into the first half. 95%?
the pass call wasn't too bad when you evaluate it fully: http://www.vox.com/2015/2/2/7961789/pete-carroll-play-call-defense

well maybe 95% is overstated but they were thoroughly outmatched in the coaching department and most of the game. belichek's era as the greatest coach maybe over, he was thoroughly outclassed by pete carroll all game long. except that boneheaded play where he got too cute in a brainiac sort of way wanting to control the ball to the very end and costed him and his team a very rare b2b

A coach who was in 9 AFC championship games in last 15 years. Off course the most successful coach in 15 years will retire...someday.
I'll take your statement as just a WISH.

Games are won by those who are ahead at the end of the game. Rest is crap discussed by those who have too much time to kill.
Joe Montana's 49ers won a narrow victory against lowly Cincinnati in 1989 super bowl ( I may be close but may not be exact on the year). No one ever mentions the margin when they talk about 49ers or Jow montana's super bowls.
Your theory is wrong. NE won the game fair and square.

Bengals were good in the '80s. They made it to 2 super bowls. I don't know what you mean by those who have too much time to kill but fans do discuss the details quite a bit.truthbetold wrote:CD
