Their marathon achievements aside, are they both really 60? The woman looks half her age. Unbelievable!!!

She is also happy to note the increase in the number of women participants. She recalls, “I began running 10 years ago, at the age of 40. When I started, I thought I wouldn’t manage more than a kilometre. Slowly I built stamina and crossed two, then five and then 10kms.”

Whats so surprising? When u look like a 30 yr old, why cant she ?

The lady might not be 60 either. Her husband is 60, can't be her. So now we can move on to being amazed at whatever they achieved, which is totally mind boggling! Seven half marathons across seven continents in seven consecutive days? From antarctica to chile to miami, etc? How they they manage with all the running in extreme contrasting weathers, hours of travel and jet lag? They probably traveled business class and slept in the planes. But still...no mean achievement. So inspiring!
