...go at it. so, who won?





Perry draws first blood, attacking Romney's job creation record as Massachusetts governor.



Romney's rebuttal: Texas is right-to-work, has a lot of oil and gas and a Republican legislature. Then gets in a zinger: If Perry says he created that, it would be like Al Gore saying he created the Internet.



Perry's come back: Former Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis created jobs at a rate three times faster than Romney.

Romney replies: George W. Bush, Perry's predecessor, created more jobs than he Perry did.

And so there you have it, the two frontrunners lock horns 10 minutes into the debate. Reporters wipe their brow -- We have a lede!
