in terms of voting share. BJP's vote share was 32% in Delhi as opposed to 31% in Lok Sabha elections.

45 to 32 would've been a disaster.. now, you all can still cheer on the fact that loyal chaddi gang is still with your party.
The fact that the BJP has won a majority on its own in the 16th Lok Sabha has, inevitably, drawn comparisons with previous elections in which parties have won a majority of seats on their own. What has not quite figured in most of these comparisons is the fact that no party has ever before won more than half the seats with a vote share of just 31%. Indeed, the previous lowest vote share for a single-party majority was in 1967, when the Congress won 283 out of 520 seats with 40.8% of the total valid votes polled.

This statistical fact points to an important aspect of the latest 'wave'. Far from spelling the end of a fractured polity, the 2014 results show just how fragmented the vote is. It is precisely because the vote is so fragmented that the BJP was able to win 282 seats with just 31% of the votes.

-> Any leader that ill-treats & harasses govt. employees meets the same fate, CBN learned his lesson a decade ago and Modiji did now.

It is a well known formula  that Indira used well.  A fractured opposition gives a well organized party a chance (BJP's win in UP in Lok sabha elections).

It is also well known that strong govt with a string of victories forces splintered opposition to join together (giving up their personal ambitions in order to survive). Combined opposition has defeated strong ruling party in the past (During Indira time).

Delhi election is a also an occasion for all opposition coming together. However in this case it is the voter initiative.

What this election shows is that when Indian voter voted for modi, they wanted development.  The same voter is sending a message he/she did not like something modi's govt is doing in delhi.  Indian voter is maturing and democracy is learning to take care of itself.  India does not need Obama lecturing it on how to handle its internal problems.

If you have a problem, go to Indian people and package it in a way to appeal to them and organize and work hard.  Results will follow. It is not t20 game. It is a marathon. AAP victory may or may not be good for delhi but it is good for Indian democratic process.

Indian voter is maturing to decimate congress.  Hopefully they can find a way to finish Laloo, Mulayam, may

If you have a problem, go to Indian people and package it in a way to appeal to them(anna's anti corruption movement) and organize and work hard.  Results will follow. It is not a t20 game. It is a marathon. AAP victory may or may not be good for delhi but it is good for Indian democratic process.

Indian voter is maturing over time to decimate congress.  Hopefully they will find a way to finish Laloo, Mulayam, mayawati, shiv sena, dravida kazagams and Jagan in coming years.

The very fact that you quoted this at least 3 times makes me think about the impact it had on this election; Looks like Obama did a Shakuni on our honorable Kaurava King Razz

CD

Why did you n ot include my comment about Jagan in your post?

Obama's comment as I explained several times before is ineffective and unwarranted. It is noise in the background to which nobody paid attention other than Indian pseudo brigade.
