The losing BJP candidates should ask for the manual recount of ballots, just to make sure that some EVMs did not malfunction and were not manipulated.

That was what AAP was saying before the counting. There is no question that AAP won. So, I would just leave that issue aside.

Hopefully, AAP's victory is a sign of people embracing politics of the independence movement - straightforwardness, patriotism, volunteerism, etc. Those days youngsters sacrificed their jobs and money to work for the movement. Last night, I saw that kind of enthusiasm in the youngsters of Delhi on TV. There is certainly a lesson for BJP and anyone else who want to learn from AAP's victory.

I am very happy that arrogant Indira CONgress is getting wiped out.

It will be interesting to get the recount in a number of constituencies, just to make sure that the machines (EVMs) worked properly. If the cars can be taken over on the road by another person through remote manipulation of software in the car, as some news-items are indicating on TV lately, then why not the similar thing happening to the EVMs?

This is the best time and real opportunity to check out the effectiveness of voting and counting by using EVMs, by recounting the votes manually after the results from electronic voting are already out.  Hopefully, some of the losing candidates will seek the manual recount of votes in their constituencies.
