Yorkshire sign Pujara after Younis pulls out

This should help Pujara, hopefully, he will be back in the national team soon. Speaking of which India doesn't appear to play a test match series this year unless they haven't published the schedule yet.

Re: Yorkshire sign Pujara after Younis pulls out
Pujara could be the most productive Indian batsman if he corrects his technique outside the off stump. Unlike dhawan, he has the temperament of a classic test batsman. For india's sake, he should do well.
It is a surprise that he was not selected by any IPL team. May be it is a good thing.

If Pujara clicks, then along with Rahane, Vijai, Ashwin, Rayudu, that wktkeeper form a nice core for a test team. The rest of the boom-boom-bam-bam clan can try to click by turn.

After the last series in Australia, Kohli established himself as the top bat.Marathadi-Saamiyaar wrote:truthbetold wrote:Pujara could be the most productive Indian batsman if he corrects his technique outside the off stump. Kholi is like TenDucker...he no Dravid or VVSL. He still lacks that temperament control at critical times. Vijai, Rahane and Pujara has that quality despite their low scores. Perhaps that new Rahul kid might have - but will have to wait and see.
