Cough syrup

In the morning is making my head reel. I feel like I feel after drinking two glasses of wine

Oh god how do I fix it.

The bottle says day n night. Why is it making me sleepy during day then on goddd

>>>Don't know. The reverse has happened to me at least once-- could not sleep after nyquil. Right now, I am on both dayquil and nyquil. feeling crappy..

I slept well. I take cough syrup at night n sleep well. Head is getting better now. A little heavy now but better than light headed ness. Was feeling like I'm flying n the world around me was spinning.
Much better now.

It's delsum.

Something very strong about this cough syrup. Totally not feeling like myself still. I took 10mL around 9 am.

What a crazy morning n the entire first half of the day. My head was sooo heavy ..I didn't send out any emails or reports or nothing.

Whew! At first I was liking the high. I was like I know now why people do drugs. It's Ahhmazzing!!
Then I was like plz stop it. Make it go away. I can't take it any more. Stop the earth from spinning. I need to feel better right now. Nothing helped - tried licking salt which made me very thirsty. Drank lots of water hoping to drain the cough syrup out of my system. Nothing helped.

I'm ready to go home. Right now.

tried Delsum, Nyquil and all. Took zpack (antibio) for bronchial infection. The lungs got better, but the dry cough remained. Used to be up all night coughing, without a wink of sleep. Used to lie down on my recliner the whole night coz if i lay flat on bed, the cough got worse. Doc gave a prescription for Hydrocodone. That worked ok, but not great. Even with that, there were nights without a minute of sleep. Horrible!

Came to Florida on a vacation. Change of place, change of weather, lless pollen in the air or whatever...everything is gone! Scared to go back home now.

8 by 8 rule.

Sometimes when I pick them from school, looking at my kids somewhat dry lips in very very dry Colorado, I ask them - why is your water bottle not finished?

Last week, I sat with my daughter...err made my daughter sit with me, to google on how much water does a human need?

As she argued with me, we hit on this site which talked of 8 x 8 rule. 8 glasses of 8 oz.

I tried my best to tell her that in dry weather, we need more, she left stomping her feet upstairs, but I hope it stays with her.

This may not at all be related to your cough, I am no doc, but I hope and wish that you feel better.

must be containing codeine , a narcotic commonly used as cough syrup .

its the strongest on the OTC syrup. take NO MORE than 10 mL twice a day...make it 3 times a day only if you dont feel drowsy or queezy.

i will take only once in 24 hrs that too at night..i hope its not TB...my DH was saying it sounds like its tb...go see a doctor blablah

this cough syrup makes me sleepy at night and i mean VERY sleepy but was suppressing my cough for 12 hours and my friend said i was breaking out because of ricola which has menthol and that's hot. i decided to take delsum in the morning too for 12 hr relief...bad decision.

that's a good rule...i think kids are so cute, they dont realize they are thirsty when they are playing.
my friend's daughter can do a sleepover at my place if she finishes her lunch everyday for a week...it's been a year and she still never finished her lunch.

i drink enough water (2.5 - 3L) a day and it's not helping cure my cough. i need to see a doctor and take some prescription meds
