Congress fumes at removal of Indira and Rajiv names from Literary Awards

Why would the names of two leaders, who didn’t have any notable contribution in the field of literature have their names attached to two of the prestigious Hindi literature awards? Why are the Khel Ratna Awards named after Rajiv Gandhi? Isn’t there any deserving sportsman with significant contribution to the field of sports in the country whose name can be tied to the Khel Ratna?

If the awards had been renamed "Hedgewar Rajbasha..." or "Golwalker Rashtriya..." then it is one of political vindictiveness. Congress thinks India as Congo, where everything WAS named after Mobuto).

They should drop Indira, Rajiv names from everywhere.... The only thing that should have Rajiv name should be 'Rajiv Gandhi Sikh Riots" and 'Rajiv gandhi Bofors Scandal"

I'll be more graceful than that and grant them such privileges on their own samadhis/tombstones :-)

And this reminds me that we have about few hundreds of acres wasted on these samadhi memorials and no prizes for guessing that there is one for Sanjay Gandhi too.
