Gold lost nearly $100 bucks friday. Last month when I said gold peaked for now around $1700 plus, a stock market genius snickered. After a month of world wide economic crisis , where are we? Gold is below $1700. Daily news of turmoil could not propel gold higher and all efforts have failed.

Gold still has lot higher to go in the long run as world economic crisis is unresolved and is likely to remain un resolved for several months and even years. Gold may allow some entry points after some days of adjustment. It is very dependent on political action. My reading is that world problems are too complex for a single stroke solution. As and when major political leaders across US, EU and even Asia step up, they have to try few more times to get a formula to get out of the current economic crisis. For coming months, I will add gold at opportune moments.
