Priests and endowment employees joined the strike by boycotting the “archaka sevas” at temples. Chindu bhagavatam artistes donning traditional dresses took out a rally.

Wonder if the strike organizers would next persuade the local padres and mullahs to stop their services and close down churches and mosques.

I unsubscribed tv9 and the whole telugu package along with it on dish. Couldn't bear to watch it.

I get all those channels free:-) I go through an outfit called YuppTv (yupptv.com) and by their "Mega-Telugu Package." It's cheap. You get Telugu TV delived to over the internet through something called a Roku box ($50). Of course, you can get other language packages too. I pay for Maa, Zee, E-TV as a package and all those news channels (TV9, TV5, Raj, N-TV etc.), Telangana channels, Bhakti stuff, etc., comes free. mee OpikE:Smile
