Yeah, I'm sure you are having a good, sikular laugh at this.

On one of my trips to Sri Sailam, I purchased a 12" high and 5" wide "vibhooti" that was cylindrical and had a rounded top and a flat bottom. When they scanned the suitcase, they saw something that looked like a missile! The guy showed me what he saw on the screen and asked what it is. I told him it is called "vibhuti" and we put it on the forehead. He asked his colleague to examine the contents. It took about 5 min. The guy examining the suitcase asked me if people who wander in Varanasi wear the stuff. I said, yes. He smiled and let me go. We still have the stuff in our house.
