Is Truth same as God for U?

Not for me. I question the likes of Vivekananda, Tukaram, Gautam Buddha because all of them either renounced their wife/kids, or never entered the phase.

I personally think that Truth may not have anything to do with God i.e. Religion(s) are NOT the answer. Nor are the religious books.

It has to be something else.

There is no one truth. There are many. One truth is that every religion claims there is only one truth, and they all claim to be represent it. Logically, that is not possible and that leads us to another truth - that religions lie.

Another truth is that it doesn't matter what is the truth. It doesn't make any material difference to our lives. So instead of wasting time in futile searches, it is better to lead a happy life.

I could go on and on, but the truth is that my next meeting begins now, so we'll have to continue this conversation later.

Hi Merlot,

Someone once said this to me - there is ONLY ONE "T"ruth, with a capital "T".

But there are many with a little "t". truths.

I fell in love with her.

Religions dont lie. Religions are mere "paths", not the destination.

Statues, Ramzan, Cross - If you think just a bit deeper are mere representations of "faith".

Faith in a stone. Faith in Bible. Faith in Q'uran. Faith in Gita.

Faith in God.

Just like Kabir Das said - "Mai to Hoon Vishwaas Mai" - "I am in the Faith".

God exists because "this" faith exists.

Different religions show us the path to this "faith", and hence to "God".

Obviously, you dont have it Merlot. Neither do I.

But I dont belittle folks who seek it.

You are evil, dude.
