Wall Street Journal conducted a poll of random internet users about the best mobile OS. Google got over 80% of the votes, while Apple got under 20%.

This is something most android fans dont realize. Most people buy Android phones for one and only reason. They are free. Most Android users dont even know that they have a smartphone.

this is very funny comparison, hence a funnier poll with even funnier results. it totally depends on the user needs. power users - android. its on LTE and more customizable without having to hack to be able to run various different apps and stuff. tethering is big with the android although it depends on the network but even with that, iphone does not come close as long as AT&T is the carrier. t-mobile might be promising.

if you are satisfied with simple elgance, a solid OS and as long as you are happy with the apps that are apple approved, iphone is ok.

lastly, android rules.

Woman, most android phones are free. Bionic is not the only android phone. I am waiting to see sales figures out of Droid Bionic though. My guess it will be a meh!

Most iphone folks do not know that either. they are happy as long as they have an iphone. because if you do not have an iphone, you do not have an iphone.

Haha. The interesting thing to note is that Android's marketshare is growing without let up. Back in the PC days, Apple folks thought they were good as long as their margins were good. But MS ate their lunch with much lower margin products. The same play can be repeated in mobile phones to AAPL's disadvantage.
