...According to the QS World University Rankings of 2015-16 released today, IISc and IIT-D have been placed at 147 and 179 respectively.

Really ?...? Imagine the reaction, celebration, and singathon if these end up within the top 10.

IISc probably deserves some credit. IIT-D (or any IIT for that matter)? What for - for being polytechnic colleges?

Certainly a step in the right direction considering what has been happening with these ratings for Indian educational institutions lately:
